Dean Radin discusses his new paper co-authored with Stuart Kauffman
Psychic phenomena have been meticulously documented in hundreds of controlled studies since the 1880s. Mainstream science publications resist acknowledging this but the quality and quantity of evidence is overwhelming.
Dean Radin, who has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a PhD in Psychology, began discovering this decades ago and founded the Institute for Noetic Sciences.
He recently joined forces with eminent scientist Stuart Kauffman to harmonize the observations with quantum theory.

Now science is allowed to talk about consciousness it appears they are only talking about human consciousness. What is missing are general definitions from observations and that includes ‘mind’.
By observation all living creatures have some level of consciousness. I think you would agree with that. Therefore following the principle that any definition must always be true (in all observations) leads to defining consciousness as simply sensory awareness. Then if we suggest consciousness by that definition is just one characteristic of mind we may ask what else constitutes mind. I would also suggest by observation the all living creatures posses a mind. So lets go to the simplest living things with the least faculties of mind and check what they are. So with the recent research that showed plants communicate via sound from their roots I am going to suggest mind at bottom consists of the following:
1) Consciousness
2) Communication
3) Creativity
This then allows us to get closer to a definition of life but also allows us to conclude any human programmed robot which can do the above has a primitive mind and is an artificial form of life. Biological life exceeds all human creations because it can metabolise, grow and reproduce. It also means ants, tigers and plants are just programmed machines like our robots but just a whole lot more sophisticated.
This also suggests humans are different from all other forms of life in that they are locked to or dependent on their purpose that is the purpose of their designer. Ants can only do and think ant thoughts and actions just like a robot vacuum can only do what it is designed to do. Humans on the other hand have been given independence from our purpose. We get to think and choose whatever we want. This is precisely the picture of human beings created in the image of God with the freedom of thought that comes with that and all the animal kingdom which does not. That is the difference is so vast and of a kind which permanently excludes evolution of man from the lower animals which is consistent with what we observe.
Even with all what was said Dean Radin avoids God! Why? I think that is a big mistake greatly limits the proper conclusions which could be made and of course scientists are not allowed to talk about God?
