Darwin himself was, by today’s standards, quite racist as well. While I have some good things to say about Darwin, I don’t endorse all of his ideas either.
If you expect that everyone we write about is going to be as pure as the driven snow… or if you’re going to make accusations like “Perry embraces one of someone’s ideas, therefore he must approve of all of their other ideas,” I suggest you find a different place to hang out.
